So I updated my namessevers with 1and1 domain.. How long does it takes to update?
So how long does 1and1 takes to update nameservers?

Once they Switch It, They Update in the next second 
The time all it takes is the time for 1And1 To trigger the change and process it
Its always better to keep domains with some friend registrars, Who are in Instant Messengers, so that gets done quick!
