In my PC i currently have
320gb - OS
1TB - Main Moving Data Drive
2TB - TV / Movies
1TB - Archived Data
Most of these are nearly full and I've just gotten a free 3-bay NAS from work so I plan on putting 3x 2TB drives in that and configuring it as RAID-5.
Then the plan is to swap the 320gb to a 120gb SSD.

All this love for western digital!
The only WD I ever had died within 2 years.
Ugh. I've only had one WD die and that was when I dropped it onto concrete
.Any HDD will die - that's why you back up constantly.. With the low cost of cloud services like dropbox and Amazon S3 there is no reason not to (except if you live in Australia where your usage is capped
).
