I've been saying this for ages : FB is a complete waste of your time!
FB developed an algorithm to calculate value in posts. They only allow through (organically) the posts that stay within FB and have no commercial intent (in your favor, not theirs). The result of this algorithm is that the money stays with Facebook themselves.
So you grow a page to 1 mln followers, the algo limits the reach to force you to buy boosts.
Get off FB, it's a dying platform. You can still get a little return but in the long run it's wasted time. Invest in your own properties instead.
