So do you guys write stuff? its pretty difficult!

Well, i am into paid marketing for 2 years now. Spent my money on almost all kind of networks and ads. But from past 15 days i am constantly focusing on white hat SEO stuff. From everything i read, i know one thing that high quality content, better than others is very important. And to rank, it has to be around K words. I tried to write stuff myself, but i notice that i lose quality after like 500 words.

To all those who are experts in SEO and playing the game well, how do you guys keep up the content game?

Not an expert. But I see what others write and adapt or I use the marketplace if I am tired.

Btw, SEO is really slow stuff if you want to see progress (eg. ranking, link backlinks) what made u want to move over from paid marketing?

consistency ...... in paid marketing, results are never consistent.

Don't force yourself, divide writings into several parts. If you are writing about something you are absolutely not interested in, just outsource.

Dude, newbie here so may be totally wrong. But in SEO its even worse right? You are at the wimp of google. Me learning from this forum thought me that rankings jump all the time. Google updates --> boom, traffic disappears.

Sorry to side track. As someone who wants to go down the paid marketing route. Any good places to start learning? Thanks.

Outsource or buy from here in the marketplace.

Paid marketing is all about testing. No one will teach you anything. You can learn operating advertiser's dash from youtube videos. But after that, its all you bro. Just keep it low budget, test the product on different traffic. And keep track of what you are doing. You are bound to lose some money until you find the magic product and your audience pool. Be prepared for that!

Thanks for the tip bro. Right now with SEO I am losing money too on my sites haha. Can't rank. Guess you either lose real money (in the form of ads) or imaginary money (in the form of time).

Content Writing is a skill that requires a lot of practice. Only then you can churn out article after article in a reasonable amount of time. Creating quality on a consistent basis is what makes it so difficult to scale. It is the #1 reason why people resort to outsourcing content creation. Only very rarely you can find someone who won't be burnt out already though.

I'm pretty good at writing myself however I hate it and similarly to yourself, after about 500 words I've lost focus. Because of this, I only write 500 words at a time and take a break. You don't have to complete an article at one time, take it slowly. I outsource a lot of my content to speed things up.

One trick if you are outsourcing content creation: Always ask for over 500 words, because even a tired writer can bang out a low quality 500 word article. 800-1000 words - you need to be more fresh so it will almost aalways be of higher quality.

What do people think "high quality content" is though? I feel like it's being tossed around a little too lightly.

Let's use Google algorithm against itself here (since google is in charge of determining what goes into the featured snipper )


When I search for "what is high quality web content?" on Google, I get the following answer from Google basically (the original post doesn't even have that in it):

• "Quality content is original, purposeful, and correctly optimized information that people and search engines are driven to read, view, and share."

Analyze the shit out of it! Start with making sure you know what the words even mean first. If I had to write the perfect answer from the top of my head right here and now with 100% accuracy with my life at stake, I'd save them the trouble and end myself by myself. Find me an idiot who would know that stuff without thorough research - human brain is not limitless. The process of analyzing in itself is probably harder than writing actually. Starting with the seemingly simple things and ending with stuff you never knew even existed as they reveal themselves in the process of analyzing.

What it actually means to analyze something?

What is "original?"
What is "purposeful"?
What is "correcty optimized information"?
Who are "people"?
What is "seach engine"?
What is...
...

One can find out about more than a trillion things if it was analyzed way too much.


And at last comes the final question, now knowing EVERYTHING about :

• What's the purpose for writing that content and how can I use that for my advantage?

This is why AI will write the perfect content one day... But until that becomes a reality, every1 is trying their best. Most don't bother with any of that and instead churn out utter shit thinking they know all the secrets, which is more like playing lottery. It's much easier to have sufficient and UPDATED knowledge when writing the content because the logic behind it is this:

A blind man vs equivalent except with eyes going from A to B - who's more likely to make it first?

And then I just write is how for example I keep up the content game.

I think that is not good tactic. You spend a lot of money. STUDY!! Find how to write articles, which form is good/bad. Than SEO - keywords, ranking and everything around that
