I know people say this is black hat, but they keep confusing black hat & flat out fraud.

You can try this & may or may not get away with this, however you never ?get it?, until you actually get it ? gettit?

I did not say anything about hijacking Googles nameservers.

I was just wondering if it's possible to place a cookie onto someones computer to make it so every time someone visits the Google.com page it takes them to another page.

It wouldn't be a lot of traffic. Only people with the cookie would be redirected. So i'd need a website like DP to spread the cookie.

Either way I'd never do something like this. I wouldn't even know how, and I don't want to end up oin jail like the owner of DP.

You're not directly stealing Credit Cards or anything. When the visitor purchases something he still gets the item so it's not like you're robbing him?

It's basically just stealing commissions, but on a large scale.

Did he have it on DP? If so then I can see how he made millions. Millions of users visited DP monthly, and then afterwards went on ebay, amazon, etc and purchased goods. He made a % of the cash.

If you owned eBay you wouldn't care if an affiliate cheated the system and took 28 million from you?

Actually affiliates got fucked by this guy also. If they clicked on your link, then accidentally got stuffed by one of his cookies before they made the purchase, he would get paid, not you.

What is the difference though between cookie stuffing and writing a script to alter all URL's to amazon and ebay to contain your affiliate information...

Serious? I know it won't be as effective as they have to visit these places by your URL instead of just getting everyone but its better than being raped for a number of years.

He would not have made 28 million purely though stuffing or they would have got him years ago.
