I'm trying to optimize my blog/review site for snippets.
Here is my plan:
Write an answer/summary at the top of every article, make it bold, use about 300 letters. I read this is the practice to get google to pick up your snippet, is that a good idea??
How would you compare meta descriptions and snippets? I'm using the review schema for most of my posts and typically use a description of less than 150 letters. However I noticed that one of my competitors also uses the review schema (he isn't the featured snippet on that search term) and google shows his full description of about 300 letters.
Should I therefore use the same text I wrote for the snippet also for the meta description?
Any help is much appreciated!
