Snippet Complications

I dont understand why when I post my blog post, the snippet from google when I search doesnt show the excerpt as I eddited in on Yoast SEO plugin. Instead each topic from my site carries my generic site description information. Why is that so and it is really hurting my CTR on SERP. How can I fix this

Never faced an issue like this with Yoast, although using it for the last 3 years and its the best. Are you also using another plugin fo r the same purpose besides Yoast?
