Hi, I'm wondering if there is already a way of automating sales pages so they are automatically created and automatically time out.

Looking to do this for an email marketing campaign with a time sensitive offer, then the order link shuts down and the website changes to say the offers ended, but...

I want this to happen to each customer who enters my list after about 2 weeks. So in effect every customer singing up a today or a month from now receives the 2 week offer then it's gone.

I don't think I need to use cookies, just the URL creation and expiration after a selected time period.

Any ideas guys?

You can do this if you record people's ips in a database or a text file Than you can do a few checks to see if a person's ip is in the database for at least 2 weeks. And use that as a trigger to prevent people from seeing that page again.

I can probably set it up for you (for a small fee of course). Pm me if you are interested.

They already have a script for this. I remember seeing it in the download section a LONG time ago, but its still in there for sure.

I would replace it with the words. Special offer is gone. You can buy it now for x so if they still want it you do have the sale.

but since they now know I did shut down entry they will believe me when I say I've got just a few copies left better get them now. I do want to test everything so thought about just raising price before. Gotta test these things.

With the ip address method next time they start their computer aren't they assigned a different ip with their server? If so how will this work?

Do you know what the program was called

I found the answer and thought I'd let you know, look in the software that came with infomillionaire which you can find here or on torrent sites.

just thought I'd let you guys and girls know, it contains a countdown timer and a website time out feature. So once you've got your prospects to sign up to your news letter you forward them to the thanks for signing up page, or your sales letter. This starts the clock ticking and ensures you can syncronise your autoresponder emails with your web copy.

If you want to give your prospects a different offer each day you can, Just put time outs on every page. :)

Thanks
