Has anyone tried post video to snapchat spotlight.

I tried posting the video to snapchat spotlight. One video gained like 137k views after posting like 2-3 days later .

Currently snapchat is monetizing this spotlight video and r providing crystal (1000 crystal =100$) .
To get the crystal the spotlight video should gain 150k-200k views within first 24 hours of posting that video.

The people r earning like crazy money .

So let's discuss how the snapchat spotlight algorithm works.

It takes basically into account the Quality of the content/ views/engagement/trends as all the other platforms
 
The factors that determine which snaps are featured on the spotlight page include;
  • Watch time
  • Likes
  • Shares
  • Skips
  • User interests
  • Snap quality.
 
it's Just simple as tiktok they will send your video in a pool of certain people, if you pass the algo, the algo will automatically show your video to more people and so on.
 
It depends on many factors like quality of content, watch time, likes and user feedback. If your video gets a lot of likes immediately after getting posted, snapchat algorithm usually favors this kind of videos and bring them to spotlight.

Snapchat Spotlight is nothing new. You are a couple of years late. Plus you don't make as much as you use to. The algorithm prioritizes watch time.

I think now they have changed the monetize rules for snapchat spotlight
 
Wow, this is pretty neat... Might give it a try by taking into account all that peepz on here are describing how the algo works...

Na the video u submit to spotlight gets first checked then the video is pushed to the feed.
The video can also be rejected.
