Snapchat ewhoring dead since omegle shutdown?

Lots of people are selling snapchat accounts meant for ewhoring and i asked some of them why would you want to sell an account that has active buyers on it. One of the people responded by saying that he learned how to make such accounts and knows how to drive traffic to them, and is better off making accounts and selling them. I dont doubt that they have an account for themselves where they have buyers too but on another telegram channel i saw people talking about snap being dead since omegle shutdown? Is this something i should waste my time on to find out if it works or should i find another method. I tried buying 2 accounts and got scammed for both, found a third seller which i think will not scam me but im hesitant to send money again.
