If I run ads for all age groups 99.9% of my spending will go to 13-17, no matter what type of campaign I run. This is fine for gaming niches where I mostly target 13-17 and get an eCPM of around $1.2.
Now that I have a new site for 18+ users I am having some issues. Turning off 13-17 kills the traffic and my eCPM goes to the roof.. It can be anything from $5(Not too bad) to $15(Insane).
I mostly run conversion-optimized campaigns with pixel bidding, but this also happens with swipe-up bidding on conversion campaigns.
Is anyone else having this issue? I thought the snap audience was pretty wide now, not just kids. Is the competition for ad placement really that hard for 18+? This makes snap ads way more pricey than competitors like Facebook and Google.
