SMS for B2B marketing?

I know it is a bit outdated, but while I ignore 99% of promotional emails, I see 100% of my text messages. Do any of you do SMS marketing? (I'm talking B2B here, not blasting out affiliate links) I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

I blacklist venders/supply partners that text me without permission, you SMS me out of the blue, I'll put you on blast to my network to ignore you.
I get enough unsolicited calls, don't invade my personal zone.

I negotiate million dollar supply contracts all the time(just wrapped one up today, that has been ongoing for 5 months) and talk with venders/supply partners, attend conferences and meet tons of companies. I get impressed with less pushy methods, they actually stand out more.
