smooth instagram stories (120fps)

I’ve been noticing since a few months ago that some accounts post stories at 120fps…

It’s very impressing at your eyes when you swipe from a low quality story to a smooth high quality and almost not compressed one

do you know whats the secret to post that? (I don’t actually have examples but I think some of you got what I mean)

I used a A7R to record and edit on premiere pro and you can tell the difference in quality right away. Lenses also help a lot. i've tried maximum settings on iphone 14 pro and the DSLR is night/day difference. So i would say the videos you see simply use more professional equipment

It's certainly eye-catching to watch something on that framerate. Editing on Adobe Premier is recommended, use it all the time and it's real reliable. I imagine your camera will be the real determining factor for the higher framerate. There is a way to "increase" the framerate of media using AI but in my opinion, it looks terrible. Best just use good equipment for it.

Yea I know, but I’m sure those influencers are only using iPhone… how can be the result be that smooth?
If I upload a 4k 60fps video to my story Instagram compresses it hard and it looks quite bad compared to these stories

All I know is as long as the format and etc. passes IG's video requirements, it shouldn't suffer from compression all that much (for 1min videos at max). Maybe it's a special feature on the iPhone's Instagram?
