I see so many SMM panels on this forum and have tried a few.

I understand the use case of SMM panels for making posts go viral, helping "jack up" the likes/shares, particularly likes on comments so they rise to the top.

Aside from helping with indexing... are these services totally worthless for SEO? The shares come from crap accounts with no real followers.

In My opinion the only good point of SMM is to help you to find subscribers by yourself (real one). When they will check your social media, they will think you are a bit famous so they will give more credits to your posts.
It's the way i'm using it. It's a pay2fast in my mind.

Social media is almost directly linked to SEO .your content on the platform will fetch you a lot of backlinks thereby increasing your ranking

I don’t think they do much for SEO unless they indirectly help get more social traffic to your site.

Money spent on SMM is probably better spent on links.
