I am currently struggling with trying to pick out my method of staying anonymous. There are certain advantages and disadvantages in both VPN and Residential or Mobile proxy.

  • My dilemma with VPN is that i know this can lead to bans on social media for various reasons. I've had luck with my current vpn for my personal social media account however.

  • My dilemma with proxy services is the KYC verification that most proxy services abide by. (kind of defeats the whole anonymity purpose,, no? Depending on your circumstances i guess) (I know there are forums here with proxies for sale, i am looking to lock into bright data or another reputable provider as i am looking for as little bumps in the road as possible once i truly begin my social media marketing & management journey.)
This is currently the only thing holding me up from beginning my social media marketing & management journey.

Any answers, help, or advice is greatly appreciated!

You should definitely not use VPN's for your accounts. Not all residential proxy providers require KYC. We actively fight against the need for KYC to purchase proxies

if you decide to go with proxies, stick to mobile. theyre more secure. Theres a bunch of providers that offer free trials too if you wanna test some out before you make a decision

Go for mobile proxies, they're the most secure and reliable option for managing multiple accounts. About KYC, there are reputable proxy providers that don't require KYC depending on the payment method - cryptocurrency for example. Some providers allow payments via cryptocurrency, which doesn’t require identity verification. This should keep your identity private and provide a seamless experience for your social media management journey.

Guangming Data is indeed a good choice. If the price is a bit high, you can also give Lunaproxy, Oxylab, and Smartproxy a try.

Mobile or residential proxies will likely serve you far better than well known VPN IP ranges for you usage.

There's tons of providers on the Proxies for Sale section in the BHW Marketplace that meet your requirements (good for SMM and limited or no KYC etc.) Find some providers offering proxies in the country you're after, take out some free trials, do some testing and see what works best for your needs!

It sounds like you're deciding between VPNs and proxies for your social media management. VPNs can be great for privacy but may get flagged by social media sites, leading to potential bans. You’ve had luck with your current VPN, but it’s a risk for managing multiple accounts.

Proxies, especially residential or mobile, are more reliable for social media marketing since they mimic real user traffic, reducing detection. However, many proxy services require KYC verification, which can feel like a barrier to anonymity but ensures you're dealing with reputable providers.

Ultimately, it depends on your priorities—privacy vs. reliability. It’s worth exploring both options and checking out the marketplace for more options to suit your needs.
