Just got an SMS where it said that my bank account is frozen and an immediate action is needed with a link.
The sender was the name of the bank (letters, not numbers)

I copied the link on desktop and of course it was a cloned page of the bank's Login page.
Does anyone know which tools or service they used to send the SMS?

From my experience none of these online Free SMS services like afreesms works.
At least in Europe where I live. So I am very curious what did they use?
Is it a program like Social Engineering Toolkit (SET) in Kali Linux which has an SMS Spoofing Attack?

There used to be sms services That allowed you to spoof #s I used a few years ago to play pranks on friends same services could be used to do fraud like this.

the services I used to use were not free .

SET is too outdated for this stuff. Plus most of the scammers use their own portal for sending message. You cannot use a apps like Twilio for this stuff.

It is not possible to create your own portal, without registering a legit company that would provide such services..
