I used to do classified ads + auto responser a few months ago, with portuguese GEO and I bring me good results with smartlink, unfortunately I'm not able to recreate it again.

What were the results?
It's hard to help when we don't know what you tried doing. It could be the way you sent your links, it could be your landing page, it could because of targeting bad geos etc.

5000 clicks and 1 sale (I suppose it SOI or DOI, not PPS?) on FB traffic is really bad...
Try to choose dating offer/lander and send traffic on it instead of smartlink.

Try to send traffic on dating offer from any adult CPA network, instead of smartlink.
You don't need to create your own dating website for it.

You have no idea what type of traffic targeting to get then, I suggest you do free traffic to start out - then move to paid traffic.
