My wife is looking for her first smart phone. We want too get a used phone.
She wants to be able to
A) make phone calls
b) Store her phone numbers
c) Store her appointments
d) Store her shopping lists.

She does not need/want internet access or Text messeges or anything like that
What is the cheapest good quality phone that will meet our needs.
We would need it be unlocked

Thank you

I have a HTC Inspire that was only $120. It has just about everything that those iPad lovers like.

Samsung Galaxy phone or a Windows phone. You can find both for cheap.

Samsung Galaxy Gio is that 3G or 2G?

Dude, why on earth would you want to spend money on a device that is as expensive as a entry level laptop
If you don't want the capability it has? That makes no earthly since to me so in that vein it dosent matter
which phone you get. Sorry to come off this way but my patience for bullshit is in short supply.

Pretty much any phone can do this.

If you are willing to spend $30/mo for a data plan (which most smart phones require) then just go with the cheapest android phone.

if you are not willing to spend that money on the data plan just get whatever cheap free "not smart" phone they have. There are several like that which have a slideout keyboard that cost $50 and have "lists" and "calendars". It won't be as nice as a cheap smart phone, but she might not need it and she won't have to pay for the data plan.
