Small Wordpress job for today...$20 ppal

I'm a WP noob for the most part. I downloaded a nice share from bhw from this thread..check it out first:

I uploaded and followed all the instructions for uploaded, installing, creating a db, editing the wp-config.php file etc.. I am now able to log into my wp-admin and I can see that the blog looks active(no theme installed yet however). Some of the plugins may not be working though and I need someone to see if I Installed this correctly and that the plugins are working. If I hire you, please be prepared to chat on y or aim. Thanks
