Small Twitter Tool

I'm not following your idea... :S Why do you want to follow someone after a certain time? Or maybe you want to follow and then unfollow, and refolllow. Is that what you want?

yes it's the second solution

follow and then unfollow, and refolllow. :o

The problem with tweetlater is that there has to be a minimum of 2 hours between each tweet. I prefer 1 minute :) and it's free with xbird.

Hi Xcubic,

I got an email sent to you. Thanks for this wonderful tool.

Hey xcubic, still enjoying your tool.

That one guy wants the option to unfollow/follow people on a timer because then he can follow the top twitter users every 5 minutes or so he is perpetually posted on the newest users following that person. This would get him more follows, but I heard that this little exploit is being monitored, so if you do it too much you are bound to be banned. If you are going to add this option you should put a disclaimer near it to warn people :P

Also, the person posting the errors are getting these because one of their twitter accounts is suspended. When xbird comes across a suspended account you get the error and have to restart. You could probably fix this by checking if accounts are suspended before sending a message, and then automatically removing it from the list and informing the person it is suspended.

Hopefully this feedback helps :)

Right here... 3.0 version

Guys, here is finally the new version of xBird

"The Flaming xBird 1.0 - BETA"
Now with message rotation...

The source code is a mess, and you might find bugs, if you do, report them to me here, by pm or email(personal preference). This is a beta because I wanted to release this quickly for you guys. I hope you enjoy it!

Attention:
You now need an email and password to use the tool. The email and password will be stored inside a database so no chance for anyone selling this again although if I notice someone trying to selling it with is own login data, I will erase his access to the software.

How do you get your email and password to login? Simple, please send me an email to xcubic.m+bhwguys(at)gmail.com. Copy paste the following inserting it into the email and inputting your data.

  • BHWN : <insert your username from BHW>
  • EMAIL: <insert your email here>
  • PASS: < insert a password of your choice here>

I'll answer you back reporting the activation of your login details. On the other hand, I have some small favours to ask:

  1. Can someone make me a free logo for this?
  2. If I decide to sell in on other forums, can someone give me good reviews at DP or at WF?
  3. How about some kind of design to a landing page?
THIS WILL ALWAYS BE FREE TO BHW

So, if someone is able to do something from the list for me, please notify me on the email and if you can do something else for me not on the list, also notify me. Some thanks would be nice! :D

I think that error i was getting was a Disconnection error. The internet was weak that day i noticed, so running multiple xbirds and multiple accounts was too much. Im running the lil birdy right now and it's running smoothly. Takes me about 30mins - 1 hour to set it up with the right messages etc and to check my twitter accounts.

I remember when you asked me if there was a bot you could create that would be an automated cash bot. I honestly thought "yeah right, we wish". Well, this is an auto-cash machine for me. Just wish i knew how to make it a web script and host it offline 24/7.

Then i can just go do whatever :D Hmmm, i think i will go play some gta4 (not online though because telecom would probably crap out  )

I would love to get a version that would post to Ping.FM instead of just Twitter since Ping.FM does Twitter and about 20+ others. IN a perfect world if it also added Hello.TXT along with Ping.FM it would cover alot of territory.

I use Postlater and it is nice but has certain limitations (like not being able to put all tweets-posts in a txt file and pulling from it versus copy and paste each one.

This would make a new program actually, and at the moment, I'm developping some paid tools because I also need to make a lil bit of money...

Gimme a yell when your paid tools are out xcubic. Your tools are great fun, makes making money fun again :) You deserve a boatload of money for the bots you have created so far.

Cool little tool man!... That's pretty cool you gave it away.

During the transition between account number 5 and 6 i got the .NET error i mentioned in the previous post:
For now i think sticking to 5 accounts will work.

Hi to all!
I had the same problem after an internet diconnection, so I reinstalled it and now it is working fine.

Very nice - please can you expand it so we can put our own "posted from: ______" link? it's ********. :D

I have been able to run 8 birds at the same time using 10 accounts. It works easily, it just depends on the strength of my broadband. Unfortunately telecom sucks, especially for those who live semi-rural in new zealand. That .net error will only come up if one of the bots gets disconnected. xcubic is building a new version of the bird which will counter this problem:
xcubic's pm to me said:
The new app I'm creeating has a continuous timer, if you get disconnected from the web and doesn't have access, it will simply ignore the twitts for that time and continue to twitt the others has soon you get internet back...

I have been having a lot of work lately... I don't have much time but will try to add a small protection against errors... I'm actually developing some paid tools now... Coming shorty... If you want to get the news first, I advise you to enter my opt-in list... see my signature for the link...

xcubic thanks a lot... I have sent across my details to you in the mail... Also subscribed to the opt-in list... :)
Waiting for the account to be activated...

I already added everyone to the database. If someone requested it and didn't got added, please mail me again.
