Hi guys,

Lately I started a new money site, it's going to be my main project, plan to make it become an authority site in a niche with pretty high competition.

I had built the site, and wanted to do a good on-page, and tried something new with the URLs and I fucked up. I trhied to do something like:

site.com/product/some-product-specification ( like site.com/tables/blue )
But I noticed late (because I lack time to focus on it so I work only like 20 minutes a day on it) that I can't make more pages with same url, not even in different categories ( wordpress does not allow me to)
for example I can't have:

site.com/tables/blue
site.com/chairs/blue

I can only have:

site.com/tables/blue
site.com/chairs/blue-2

And I don't want that as I'm going to target a lot of "blue" things :D

So... what I need to do now is to change URL structure of my entire site, even if I rank pretty well for now :( I wish I worked more on it and noticed earlier...

Anyway, what I'm going to do today is to change all URLs on the site from:
site.com/tables/blue --> site.com/blue-tables (the old school URL structure)
also I'm going to 301 if Wordpress does not do it by default.

Current rankings:

I do this test here because I wished someone tracked this in the past so I can weight pros and cons. I had not found anything and I hope this will help someone someday :D

Will update!
Cheers!
