small tip for getting a few backlinks with anchor text

There are some forums out there that let you go back and edit your post at any time... even a year after it was posted.

I went back and searched for threads that were posted by me. I found a really old one that i posted and edited it. I used BB code to put a URL with anchor text in one of my replies and saved it. It did not put the post up to the top of the list which is what i was hoping. Now i have a link in a forum post with anchor text and it is on an old buried post that nobody looks at so no complaints about it.

The only thing i am unsure.. is if google will pick it being an old post.

Its good if i could remember posts i made on a forum a few years ago, But good idea.

any forum that you remember going to... just log in and do a search of all posts created by you

This is the only forum i know that does that
