Small PBN - Where to get content from?

Hi guys,

I want to build a very-small PBN for myself - for my own websites - it will consist in 5 domains.

So a few months ago i started gathering domains - buying some and one found by me with links from:

  • huffington
  • forbes
  • nytimes
  • wikipedia
  • reuters
  • etc

This domains will point to my feature money site - now my big question, how do you get content for this domains?

Do you use spun content for tier 1? i don't think is a good idea...

Other way around... content from expired websites will be ok?

PS: I can;t restore the old websites from waybackmachines as most of my domains are websites of former political candidates... so i don't want to get that back..Any suggestions will be nice.

If the content from wayback is fine, then yes, you should use it,
But apart from that, get fresh content written up, no spun stuff.
 
Only use fresh and unique content
 
I would use original content, if you are afraid of copyright, just rewrite it either yourself, manual writing service or rewriting tools (check how readable before adding).

If you are not going to use original content from archive.org, then find some relevant articles, rewrite them, or write/order totally unique content.

Whatever way you go, you can check with copyscape if it's unique.

this is number 1 choice; other than that there are many ways to get cheap content, either using online tools, or rewriting gigs; such as $1 for 500w in "pretty ok " English
 
But what if the original content on this websites were about crocodiles for example and now the content will be from another domain?

Will this affect?
 
I have recently swapped from using auto generated content from bots to either 100% unique human made content or human spun content leaning more towards the 100% unique side and my sites are performing much better now.

I published this post about hiring freelancers on Upwork a while back that maybe helpful for you. I pay $2.50 per 500 words for T1 content and its working fine so far, a friend managed to find someone willing to work for $1.50 per 500 words with bulk orders but it took him a whole bunch of time to find the writer, I havent spoken to him in a while either so I don't know if he kept the writer on or let her go.
 
Well you need to match your niche both from old site and your new site. I've heard google will render no use to existing backlinks of that domain if you switch niche entirely.

Also, try to revive the URLs where most backlinks are coming from. Get someone to write the content of it, and rebuild the old link "as how it once was". Then use that pages to pump up 1 page (example your homepage) where you will soon place your money/target site.

Also, try to pm @littlewebdragon if he has some articles from your topic. He's the cheapest you can find here without sacrificing quality and uniqueness, not to mention no spun stuff.

Agreed. You've wasted your money buying good domains if you're going to toxify them for future use by slopping spun or reused wayback content onto them. They're literally wasting money and burning a quality domain. Not to mention risking their site's long term safety.

One more question - you think i should "revive" the old pages of the domain? I mean is a powerfull link is going to a page called : site.com/media2344.html should i create a page with the same name?

@Nargil i need your input man - sorry but it seems like you're the one when it comes to pbn's / domains.

I have 140 pbns using just spun content. None of the sites have ever, ever been hit.

The content is 100% unique, reads better than all of the 1$ per 500 word services on here.I spent 5-6 days getting my spun content, spun titles, images, videos, infographics ready and it has lasted me the whole time.

You can use spun content, but you can't be lazy with it. And no, running it through an automatised program won't suffice. Spun content on pbn's should be done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Dude there is no issue with using wayback content, it won't toxify anything. No one has ever proved this is toxic.

For the page you are taking about, get the cotent from that page, upload it to a new page and 301 /media2344.html to the new page.
 
I think it depends on your personal use-case too. If you're trying to build a super high-quality PBN using expensive domains, one that could potentially last 10+ years, then you should probably stick to totally unique and well-written human content.

On the other hand, if you're building a lower-quality PBN -- one that you don't care if it lasts longer than a few years -- using bottom-of-the-barrel expired domains, then reusing expired content and even well-spun content is fine, though personally I would avoid spun just because I'm not good at spinning.
 
You can find a lot of writers who can write decent content for dirt cheap.
Here's another trick: ask them to write a 500 demo/review, that's free content right there.

What Mikey said. Reviving won't make the PBNs toxic or anything. It's a viable method, even though I am not a huge fan of it.

Ideally, you want your PBN sites to be as niche relevant (contextually) to your money site as possible. For me it's more logical and natural to just repurpose the domains. I've talked about this here - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/c...osts-metrics-spam-and-niche-relevancy.916518/

Guys like @littlewebdragon or @bossofthebosses provide unique non spun articles for $1 a piece so that's where I would go if I were you.

Also, Mikey uses spun content, but for .co.uk market if I am not mistaken and for tier 2 PBNs. In smaller markets you can get away with spun stuff, but google.com might not be so forgiving.
 
I have been building PBNs forever and tbh the quality of the content used is pretty important. Make sure you fill your posts with a lot of images/videos to keep your engagement up - this applies to money sites as well.
Random hat tip: EAH is pretty cool and seems to be working really well atm.
 
You are right, You've got really great domains for PBN; so never think of going for spun contents.. Find the cheap writers who provide handwritten contents for less than $1 - @Nargil has suggested some guys, Use them for contents.

If I were you, I would go for highly unique and hand written contents and make that small PBN as a powerful one.
