Small niche sites vs autoblogs

Hey there. I'm trying to decide whether I would be better off making small specific niche sites or autoblogs.

By a small niche site, I mean a site targeted to a specific longtail keyword with a few thousand monthly searches. I would pretty much just put up one article concerning the keyword and have the keyword in the domain. I would use a cheap .ino based on the keyword. Seems like it'd be easy to get on the first page if I scrapeboxed it, no? It seems like I would be able to get at least 50 visitors a day pretty easily which would bring a dollar or so a day per site. Since they wouldn't take long to make I'd probably make like 30 of them.

Or I could set up an autoblog.

Anyone have recommendations?

I have a few amazon site that review only one product.
The money is ok but you have a lot of fail until u get the money.
And even if u get to page 1 u have to chose a saleing prouduct to make good money.
Do a lot of search to find a easy niche.

Haven't really done the autoblog thing, but I know niche sites work well if you can rank them... tip though - don't blast your niche site/money site with SB, build some legitimate backlinks to your site (some web 2.0's are fine) and then blast those backlinks with SB - gives those BL's sooo much more juice.

blasting your money site will just get it sandboxed for months...

Both small niche sites and autoblogs have their good sides. For small niche sites, you would not have to labor too much to get the sites ranked because all the articles are unique. What you would need to bother about is how to get those articles written in a sufficient number that would really always bring traffic from the search engines.

Autoblogs are also good if you target very good less competitive niches. You don't need to labor to get the content. Another thing is that you can easily tweak the content so as to give some kind of uniqueness to your own autoblog and get good traffic. The drawback is that you would really need good content sources to get your autoblogs bringing in money.

Make both.

Niche sites are quick and easy, but since you're reliant on a very low number of keyphrases you can have savage fluctuations in traffic.

Autoblogs can take longer to put together but since you have more pages and more keywords, traffic tends to be more stable. Also a full site is easier to get links to than a one page wonder.

I'll vote for niche sites (As per my experience).
