Small Channels... YouTube Are LOWERING Monetization Requirements!

That's good news, one of my new whitehat channels just hit 500 subs the other day which should make me eligible. This will speed up things a lot.
 
The new conditions for monetization are as follows:

  • Having 500 subscribers;
  • 3 public uploads in the last 90 days;
  • and either 3,000 watch hours in the past year or 3 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.

That makes new YT channels & projects so much easier. I wonder how/if this will affect the ad revenue from each video.

Not only that they are opening their own shop option for youtube channels+ affiliate program for those shops which is kinda cool for yt creators in some way but im jt afraid they will then block links towards other sellin g platforms
 
It seems good but I believe won't last too much time, I have a feeling they are doing this to get all content creators from Twitch to move to youtube maybe a few might move but still is a good move from youtube.
 
nice new stats, but still with low amount of views you will get peanuts, so...
