First, I found a niche product that people are actually talking about (in this case nutra). The goal was to tap into a real issue people wanted solutions for.


1. Find the Right Subreddits: I used SEMrush to identify high-traffic subreddits where similar issues get discussed—places where my story would fit in naturally.
2. Crafted a Real Story: Wrote an authentic-sounding post, sharing all the things that hadn’t worked before I found something effective. No hard sell, just a genuine story.
3. Keep It Low-Key: To avoid the promo vibe, I kept it casual, like a friendly recommendation. I invited people to DM me if they wanted more info.
4. Post & Engage: Shared the post in relevant subreddits, replied to comments to keep it conversational, and stayed low-key.
5. DMs Rolled In: Got a lot of DMs from people wanting to know more, but ran into issues with sending links in DMs without getting flagged, which limited how much info I could provide.
6. Learn & Adjust: Some posts were removed after a few hours, so I realized knowing each sub’s rules is crucial. I’m still working on keeping posts up longer without triggering removals.

Any Tips?

• Keeping Posts Alive: Any tricks for getting posts to last longer without removal? Reason for removal was "No solicitations , requesting DMs or attempt at selling products, services, affiliates, etc

If you add links directly to the post then I would advise you not to do that for at least 72 hours of publishing the post. For sharing links, use link shorteners.

Yeah for sharing I used the shortener but was not allowed to send even like that in DMs, strange.

Depends on the shortener you used. Bitly and other popular ones are spammed to death. It's best to buy a domain and setup your own shortlinks

For sharing links, try sending them as plain text (with spaces) in DMs to avoid flags. To keep posts up longer, suggest users “search for” the product instead of mentioning DMs, which can look less promotional. Automation is possible with Reddit bots, but it’s risky. Reddit's quick to detect spam
