smac address change....please help

Hello,

I am using smac and when I change my mac address it says that my ip address has changed. Also when I go to cmd - ipconfig/all it says that my ip address is different, but when I go to whatismyip.com it says that it is the same as before?

I am pretty new to changing my ip address, but not very new to working with my computer, lol. Any help would be appreciated.
