Slow sales for October

Hey,
Is anyone experiencing slow or no sales for the month of October? It has been booming and now almost nothing.
I hope it is not just me!!

Nope, I didn't notice that. Check your traffic and payment gateways that they work correctly.

Affiliate sales and POD sales from US are slow for me this month.

Affiliate sales in India are doing OK.

dropship was dead since sept but its beginning to earn again, maybe black friday anticipation?
offline business slowed down this week, smm and orm are stable.
marketplace platform took a hit because of gateway but since last week its running and earning as well.

sorry can't talk about affiliate, I don't do any.

Some of my clients are seeing certain product categories start to slow down in the second half of October. Common trends for this include:

• High ticket items that have long consideration phases and are known to go on sale during BFCM.
• Sites where the competition is already doing early black Friday sales.

When I notice sales decrease the first thing I look into is whether my conversion rate dropped or my traffic tanked. If you want to dive deeper I'm happy to look into it with you.

Anticipation could be it. I've stopped personally spending as I got told by my sister and girlfriend to stop buying things because Christmas is coming and I become difficult to shop for if I buy everything. So my online shopping goes to zero until like Dec when I start doing my shopping for others and resumes Dec 26th. I'm curious if this goes on with others.

OP - I haven't experienced it on my stores, no. Sales have been fairly normal.
