Slow Rankings Decrease to Page 6+ (Over past couple of months)

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I have a small PBN and in the past have seen a couple of my sites rank well after adding them only to fall to the Page 6 + 7 and beyond after a couple of years.

My problem is i'm not sure if it is a PBN issue, or related to the content, etc. I have no manual actions on any of my money sites. Some still rank decently that are in the same PBN.

My assumption is that this is a slow algorithmic penalty (i.e. something like Penguin or Panda), so i've been working on modifying my content to make it better, not using exact anchors, etc.

However, I have no idea if my PBN is safe, if I should still be using it, what I might have been hit with, etc. Trying to avoid making the same mistake!

Are you steadily building links and adding content to your money site? If the niche is even mildly competitive, you're probably going to drop in ranking unless you do both of those.

I have not been as steady as I should be that is for sure. However that spreads across all sites that are ranking vs not ranking. For this site in particular i'd see the keyword drop to the bottom of page 1, then onto 2, 3, and finally end up past page 5. Almost like a slow bleed.
