Slow page speed

Hello, my friends,

I have a problem that my website is very slow

I watched some tutorials on YT on how to increase my website's speed, I've done everything that I learned in these tutorials but my "Fully loaded Time" is still very high.

Maybe I must change my hosting provider if I want to increase my page speed significantly?

You can hire @kindablack service or use auto optimise that’s a good plugin, before changing host run in GPT metrix and see what’s the issue.

I'm hosting with hostgator and I guess it was not the best decision

Use Cloudflare. If you want to get fancy, you can get a VPS or dedicated hosting and even use a CDN to increase file loadtime on your page.

Disable plugins you don’t really need and use W3 Total Cache to cache your site better. You could do some caching on Cloudflare too.

Optimize JavaScript code - Check
Optimize CSS code - Check
Optimize HTML code - Check

Then install WP Rocket(paid) and

Enable Caching for mobile devices - Check
Enable LazyLoad for images, iframes, videos - Check
Prefetch this URL : //fonts.googleapis.com using the Preload tab

Can you tell us when you ping to your website what is the response time in ms? Usually slow is because of network is congested, overselling of resources and page is not optimized. If you say hostgator then I think it answer few questions.

Please send a waterfall diagram of your website loading from GT metrics. We may be able to find something looking at that be able to help you better.

If you really care about website speed I’d recommend hiring a programmer to optimize the code for you. Also setup a CDN like Cloudflare

any hosting company without a phone number on the homepage, i would not recommend.

Be sure you know what you're doing before you start with complicated changes. I also hired someone from here to make things work faster.. I have tried in the past to make a website move faster and when I started working on the CSS I broke it, had to restore an old backup version..

You should check your Yslow waterfall on gtmetrix, and see what slow it down.
It tells you in detail there.
I think you don't have caching.

2) Transmission Technology

3) Website Contents
