I keep seeing people posting how they grow their accounts 100-200 or more per day, or building a 5k account in a month. Not to mention people on marketplace selling not even 2 month old accounts with 10k followers. But I just don't get it anymore.. First I thought I needed the right settings but I don't really think anymore that's the problem. I've had my travel account now for a while, it's getting about 30 followers a day. Recently I started 5 more accounts in different niches, optimized FL settings, posting 2 times a day, all HQ posts, getting the same results. I really don't get it anymore. Can someone shine a light on all of this? Are people that are growing these accounts at astronomical rates adding fake followers just for numbers or what's the deal?

It's leaving me really stressed out because I was slowly going to add more accounts and thought that maybe one day, in a year's time, I could maybe start making at least 30$ a day so I can leave my exhausting day-job, but things don't seem to be going in the right direction. If I get 20 followers a day on 15 accounts, that's just 9000 a month which is barely 100k in a year. 100k doesn't seem high enough for me to start making money, especially not divided across 15 accounts, not to mention it's not free either when you include proxy and sim card costs.

I'm willing to pay someone of expertise in the area for 30 minutes of their time to maybe broaden my horizons, because the whole thing is kind of bringing me down..

Yea I'm getting a slow growth also since about a month. I think Instagram is changing stuff.

same problem. Same settings three days ago actions fast, same settings now actions decrease

IG is doing some major updates and that's why you cant grow accounts as fast as you could 1 year ago. What software are you using to do this?

I know, but a lot of people still grow theirs super fast. Using FL.

What kind of settings were you using in FL in terms of following, tags, etc?

I'm sure you have a hypothesis as to why you are having slow growth. What do you think it is? Usually with these things there is some gut feeling of what you might think.

400-500 follows /unfollows
500 or so likes
1 share per day

No idea. Maybe I'm asking whether my gains are normal for using only FL or not. Seeing what other people type probably not..

I could work more on targetting but doubt it could make any big difference. My profiles all look very nice. Maybe I could work on bio a bit more, but again, doubt that's it.

It will probably even get worse since I was plan on doing follow and unfollow on different days, meaning I'll do less of both on average in a week. I'm doing following and at the end of the day I unfollow the same amount, but I heard that's dangerous.

IG is slowing everybody down. It happens. I think we'll be seeing a major Instagram purge soon. Like the one in September of 2016 where many lost up to 30% of their fake following.

FB wants to make more money with ads, and fake accounts are bad for everyone. Just read here on BHW where some of you are spending $100-$200 a month on IG ads and get only 5 new followers. That's because the "reach" has a shit load of fake bots. So it's bad for you, and more importantly, bad for companies that want to spend and see that there are getting crappy results. That is not good for FB/IG. So, they'll keep hitting fakes and bots, and in the meantime, we'll keep losing "followers", even though those seem to appear to be fakes as well.
In the end, it should be better for those of us that want real followers.

Truth is growing is difficult nowdays IG is oversaturated you must actually do something new and different in order to attract new people on top of all the usual methods.

So be patient, check accounts growth on Social Blade rather than think everyone is growing at 100+ per day. From what I have seen if you at least end in a positive everyday you are winning. There's a lot of clean up happening on IG so take it easy

It is because of ig. Some guys are using hashtags to grow and some are just good botting. It is all about thee right choices that yyou need to make

Do you think these daily followers are real? On a personal account in fashion niche?

1. Follow only most recent followers of some really big account in your niche. That way you will catch them when they have the phone in their hands.

2. Follow people that have more following than followers, obviously they are more likely follow back people.

3. Follow people with less than 200 followers, they still care who is following them, they are more likely to check your account and follow back.

4. You can follow up to 1000-1200 people per day (for a few months old account). 40-45 or so per hour.

5. If you have HQ pictures follow back ratio should be around 30%

That's 300-350 followers just from follow/unfollow method.

I feel like I have consistently been getting about 30 followers a day since I started botting. Went from 200 followers to about 5k now and it's a bit frustrating. I really thought it would naturally pick up and it hasn't.

Perhaps it's because I unfollow as many people as I follow per day. (After I've already followed the account for 2 day) This keeps the people I follow to under 1k and I always thought that would look better than someone who follows over 2.5k people in terms of getting followed back. Am I in the wrong here?

I started my first ig 5 months ago and until now I have only 1200+ followers (with more than 16% engagement per post) because I don't use bots and automation software (not yet). And last week I tried to sell a cheap ebook and I got $100+ in sales from ig alone (without spending a dime). Maybe you should start to change your approach in order to gain benefit from instagram. Instead of using ig to sell shoutout, you better use it to sell your product. It's more beneficial in the long run and you don't have to worry about the amount of followers that you have. Your main focus is "conversion". Just a thought :)

Just my opinion, social media is never gonna be consistent money.
They are always going to find a way to diminish your reach to force you to buy ads. They don't give a f^ck if you make a dime on their platform.

Plan B: make a website and push followers to it to collect their emails. A good email list can earn and you OWN it. You NEVER own your social media accounts.

Do you just check off "scrape only top results" on FL to ensure you get the newest followers?
