Slapped hard by google

Tell me these things and I will try to help.

Is it an HTML site or a WP site?

How many pages of good stuff, and how many fluff?

Do you have a privacy policy, about us, contact us pages, and a sitemap?

Did you ping these links from your computer, or did you use a proxy?

WP, Yes, yes, yes, and from my computer :) PM sent to you

That happened to one of my YT vids 3 days ago. It was #3 for the kw and went to "where the hell is it" overnight. The next day it was back at #3. Go figure.

I'm still not able to locate the links (I don't know where he's put them).

Also, where can I tell google about this?

did you have made massive backlink building to that website recently? if you didn't, then is just google dance. Keep watching your site for a couple of days and see if it goes up again. Also if you didn't, it would be a good idea to ask google about your problem

Is this a bought theme or a downloaded theme,if you "grabbed it" buy the original, uninstall the grabbed version, install the real version.

I NEVER use free downloaded themes,I did and had a similar issue.

The links will be in the phpcode, look through the code,it is easily spotted normally as a scramble of symbols(clean code is legible).

If the above is the case(e.g you downloaded the theme) buy it,it's the easiest and quickest solution.
Your site should come back when you sort it but it'll take time.

Let that be a lesson, it looked for all the world like a panda slap, but it was a hack.

How many of you that have recently been slapped checked for malicious code?

Ledlys,

I hate to be the bearer of more bad news, but you might need to call in a security guy. More than likely the hacker left a back door.

Wouldn't you?

Just remove the wordpress theme and change it to another one. Your site will be back up in a day or 2.
