I tried this and it didn't post b4. I copy and paste now:
Ya'll need to just stop reading. Stop analyzing. And start doing something. Sure, I am a little confused some people are doing something and still not earning. I don't know why. I don't know what steps ya'll take yadda yadda yadda. I setup an automated blog on a freebie cpanel that a mate gave out several months ago. I took less than an hour to do and only did it becuase some other mate was asking about his adsense ads and I was testing it out his theme and makeup to see what would happen. I made like a buck or two on adsense and 13 or so bucks on amazon. After only doing that lousey, crappy, crappy setup. So no, fuck the analyzing. Fuck the books and the teaching. Just do something. Seriously I'm so down that ya'll are being pulled in by the hype and paying bs money to bs claims. Here it is:
build blog.
get traffic.
simple.
1. Keyword research.
Beneficial for a few reasons:
a. Finding the right paying kw will make it easier to earn on autopilot. I have a halfsie site set up that I STILL need to finish that is earning about $1.30 per click. Yessir I did the keyword research on that one. So now you gonna ask how. Ok, I give:
How: For this particular site I just took a well known niche that was quite popular and did adwords research rather than kw research. To me, it's the same when thinking about setting up blogs for adsense earnings. So I used adwords accelerator to see what kws were being bid on and the clicks and the traffic and the available domain names. Get this too: it's a .info domain. It ranks fine, it gets traffic fine, it's earning damn fine. STOP ANALYZING!
b. You don't waste time waiting to see if a domain will earn or getting traffic to a dud. Anyone who has ever earned an arcade site will tell you that no all niches are created equal. MORAL: short work now may pay better later.
c. Would be nice to see if there are affiliate networks that you can offer related products for. This makes up for more income than adsense can never ever reach...well not at an autoblog level per blog type of deal.
I installed some ablogs for a guy that started making earnings within his first week. I was cheering him on for driving traffic and he tells me he did nothing more than se submission; but he had done the kw research before is why. I was even more happy for him. Initiative is the way to go.
2. Setup
1. wordpress. it's easy. best. lots of options. and I'll tell you this: I have YET to see a single ebook or post or freaking guide that has given a complete recipe. I'll tell you this: wp is so vast that you can create your own setup that will work for you and it will work! why? b/c you are going to work. STOP ANALYZING. Drive traffic. duh duh duh. Same as with any other site. Drive traffic.
2. SEO. For the love of God SEO. Don't know seo? Read the forum---the basics are here, are accurate, and are free. Even advanced is basic. [aka easy].
3. Backlinks. Social traffic is easiest, but I'd recommend private or member link networks too. They work. Worth the money invested.
4. Blog commenting. eh. if you have a spammer, use it. otherwise, stick to social bookmarking and backlinking.
5. check in on your setup every other week or so. the plugins hang sometimes; make sure all is well.
3. Theme
a. I prefer themes specific to the niche. FUCK A PREMIUM THEME. I don't give a fuck if it looks better, you want people clickin on your ads and buying your products. To do this, they must trust you. They trust someone who looks like they are devoted to their niche. They could care less if your site looks pretty. wtf is a premium theme gonna make them want to do? They have to search for your adsense to click on it and good luck if they want to find your affiliate products [you are putting those on there right?]. Stick the ads right up there in their face without being in their face and not all seperate at the mid bottom in a nice LOOKING theme. A premium theme just fools you into thinking you are getting a better deal on the same damn setup. STOP ANALYZING.
b. Play with your widgets. Add html widgets for banner ads and post recent posts/comments widgets to show your site is active and whatnot.
c. no big ass graphics that take up most of the view when the visitor comes to the page. duh.
d. I like to use a different theme on each blog. no more than 2-3 times reused.
Use common sense. STOP ANALYZING.
4. .com vs. .info
EITHER. Use w/e domain extension you want. It's all about what you do with it that google really cares about. yeh yeh .infos may have a little stigma, but google doesn't just look at the extension and say be gone with ya. STOP ANALYZING.
My whole point is stop waiting for others to tell you what to do, how to do it, or hold your hand. Just do it. Go out, buy a domain, buy some hosting, find a keyword that is getting good search volume that will not swallow you up at the same time, install wordpress, do seo, install your blog and drive traffic. traffic traffic traffic.
I made this as coherent as possible. please don't pm me. I am bad with getting back to pms and sometimes I am just not on here. But I am realy really really really REALLY aching for you guys. I love you all. I just htink you are being led astray by NOT DOING something. Just DO. STOP ANALYZING. Stop thinking you need all the answers before you cna begin. Even after my 99% thread [which tbqh is really a lot less], I have tweaked my setups to where they are almost totally different now. That's what making money is all about: keep tweaking, keep doing, keep spinning, keep trying,,,,,,,keep ahead of the game and you won't get played.
good luck ya'll.
and now i'm really off to bed.
eta: people tell you that you will earn if you get traffic because YOU WILL. that's a duh factor guys, really. just build and get traffic. you don't need anyone to tell you when, how, why, and what color. It will happen. It's not gonna replace your incrome though if you don't do a lot of them so I recmmoned as a side project of course to start.
