I contacted jordan after i had a client contact me to get a site done.
client had a site in mind which they wanted cloned ..i read some threads and i contacted jordan after reading the thread.
here is our initial interaction
[1:53:38 AM] Jordan: Hey there! How can I be of assistance?
[1:53:56 AM] ME: hey jordan
[1:54:00 AM] ME: i need this site cloned
[1:54:13 AM] ME: http://****.com/
[1:54:28 AM] ME: let me know if it can be done ..price .. and ETA if we order today
[1:54:30 AM] ME: thanx
[1:54:44 AM] ME: i am here if u want to spend a few minutes studying it
[1:55:10 AM] ME: hopfully its not your site or done by you ;-)
then
[2:01:28 AM] Jordan: I can make you something similiar for $150, have it done tomorrow.
[2:01:47 AM] Jordan: Which is as cheap in the States as you will find. And only because I have 5 in-house employees
[2:04:13 AM] Jordan: Go blue, something similiar to my site www.*****.com or www.*****.com
[3:04:37 AM] ME: whats my ETA for delivery ?
[3:04:53 AM] Jordan: 48 hours 100% complete with content.
All this is on 18th June .. then i contacted them again when i was not getting my work delivered and was told it will be done soon
My customer kept giving me more time as i kept pleading with him , based on jordan's words .. but he finally gave up since i could not deliver ..
i told jordan customer is about to cancel and he still did not repond to skype/emails
and now after a MONTH goes by .. this is what i get in email

A full refund will not be issued due to the time of the case. We will replace 50% and you will receive what there was as-is. We could not reach an agreement on a color scheme, which you could have easily changed to please your client.
Either 50% or our lawyers will get this reversed fairly easy as we document our time on video.

and i am livid since
1. I gave him CLEARLY the site customer wanted cloned and to bring up colors/design after a MONTH is just plain wrong
2. He started lying to me and gave me contact of another person , fronting him as jordans "business partner" , who clearly told me
" Okay again - it's not you guys. I work with Jordan occasionally - you never signed any contract with me, sir."
3. I understand he has worked on the site , but it was not a failure on my part of any kind , it was his inability to deliver the product , that caused me monitory harm.
And to come up with this excuse NOW , is just plain pathetic
"We could not reach an agreement on a color scheme,"
No the client did not cancel because of the "color scheme" ...he cancelled because we could not deliver in time
Mods/Admins .. please help me out here
