Skype Scammer Alert

Hi,

Few members informed me that someone contacted them on skype saying IamKing from BHW to offer SEO services.

I won't spend much time on skype, most of my clients will contact me through email or PM here.

It's not me. It is a scammer.

Please make a note. My Skype id: imkingseo

Another member here experienced the same issue. Seems like someone is trying to take advantage
of the nice reputations members have here. I would advise that people PM a member here and always
confirm whether or not you are really talking to the member.

Another type of common scam. And most don't bother to take the precautionary step.

If someone directly contacts you on Skype then it's best to ask the person to send you a PM to your BHW account so as to confirm their identity. It rules out the possibility of Scam whether by seller or a random BHW member who poses as someone else.

This, seen it happen many times, had someone try to pretend to be a reputable BHW member to me offering a JV, but wouldn't PM me so deleted the contact.

I lost a few dollars with that scammer. His skype ID is: iamking.bhw and his avatar is the same as FBGuru said.

Yep, I got scammed by him too. He said he needed a banner (like the one in BSTs) for his Ebay shop, I insisted a lot to pay me upfront but he declined, he said he's doing a business and will pay me once I did the work correctly. Well, he was supposed to pay me $100, he asked for revision once, I litreally spent 4 hours on it in total and the next thing I know, he blocked me. I know I shouldn't have worked without any upfront but I couldn't turn down an offer of $100 since I needed the money

Hope you learnt your lesson. I too wasted some time while designing a banner for him as he asked me a lot of revisions. I never knew he'd scam me as that was the first time I worked with someone on BHW. He's the same guy who scammed me plus scammed few other members in the name of skyrocketseo. He's having this habit of blocking peoples after getting things done. He blocked me when I insisted him to send some token advance and then after this reply on his thread by ChapoGuzman, he PM'd me again asking to resend him contact request on Skype. He'll be featured on Beyond Scared Straight long before he goes to hell.
