skype login problem

Hi,

Is anyone facing problem logging into Skype now? I was online and suddenly disconnected trying to login again, but always it says Skype can't connect. Tried with other PC and different internet still the same. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Even I am facing the similar problem , any solution for this.
 
for me it is showing connecting after login but i am able to chat with ppl even all of them are showing offline.I guess there is some problem in showing the online status of ppl but the messages are going through.
 
Some of you may experience problems with Skype presence and may not see online. We have detected an issue with the status settings of Skype.

Affected users will not be able to change their status, their contacts will all show as offline and they will be unable to start Skype calls to them.


Instant messages are still being delivered as usual. The status issue also doesn't affect Skype for Web, which can be used to make calls and send instant messages.


We're working on a fix for this issue and hope to have an update for you soon. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused while we get this resolved.

They dont mention the login issues though.

I experience the presence issues stated above, and my colleague sitting next to me is experiencing the login issue.

The web version is over-loaded. lol

From what I see in twitter, people from all around the world cannot connect, including me.

My Skype is synchronizing continuously but my chat is working. :D

yes, currently only using web client.

Skype server is down for some setting problem. Thats why it is down for all over the world. But Skype web version is now ok and running.
