Skype Issue

Hello there so when I try to add my Skype to my profile it says "Invalid ID"
and I have a Skype name that starts like live:example

What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried adding a different ID? Just to see if it works...

I guess your using a @live.com email? Basically hotmail email, right?

That's obviously the problem dude. How attached are you to that name? I'd make a new skype profile if I were you. Depends how badly you want your ID on BHW.

No, but since its a new Skype I am forced to have that live:example style Skype name.

Yeah it's and @outlook email.

I like the name but I hate the "live:" thing before it, but I am not sure how to have a Skype name without it these days.

Update: SO after checking with Skype Q&A there is no damn way to change the live: from it and what
concerns me now is if Vbullitin allows the live: in the Skype name?
