THIS.

I've tried starting skype groups for various reasons and I'd rather set my balls on fire than do it again.
Here is a small list of reasons why they suck:

1) Noone focuses on 1 topic.... EVER.
2) 95% of people ask questions.... 5% answer then never come back.
3) The 95% that are left create a clusterfuck of chaos.
4) Anytime a question is asked it immediately gets washed out by random useless posts.
5) Anytime an answer is posted it get's immediately washed out by random useless posts.
6) This repels the few people who actually know their shit.
7) Topic of conversation always degrades from marketing to porn, sports, weather and other useless shit.

They are quite literally hell.

I've done them for Local SEO, YT marketing, NJ Marketers Skype group, Clickbank, etc.

Not once have I've ever learned a thing.

You are 100 times better off finding **1** knowledgeable person and talking to them.

It will work only if it is made exclusive and entry on invitations only. Otherwise it's likely going to be another free-for-all-trolls venture, sorry to say. It will be a room overfilled with wannabie-samurais (trolls actually) swinging their samurai swords, but blindfolded!! lol. You'll come out in pieces and shreds... if at all, and then never will remember to work out anything as before....

In short, Forget It!!! :D

It can work if you can manage to pull out the very small % of users who will be useful in forming partnerships with.

I have a better idea for a group:

Share-Your-Actual-Money-Methods-Skype-Group!

All methods must be in step-by-step format, and the sharer must give infinite revisions to make everything work!

Well im in several Skype groups and what they all have in common is that they were created after word of mouth. Aka people knew other people, they created a group and it started. All the groups im in were started by people i already knew.

If you want to start a group, start it privately and dont do it in public IMHO :)

Also try to keep them small likes less than 30 people or so.

Yeah Group Should be of small people only,
Otherwise the topics get skipped out and the group gets only suppliers!!

and in the end it becomes a barren land from where you can only see "So and So Left"

I have never joined one of these groups for that exact reason. You are better off asking your questions here and waiting for an informed answer.
