Can we all agree on this: Skype Officially Sucks?

1) They don't allow new account to register with username, live:xxx bullshit etc
2) Using skype on both phone and PC is just horrible. Lots of bugs.
3) Doesn't even remember chat history correctly.
4)Skype credit BS.

So what are the alternatives? So we can ask for that alternative without asking for skype ID.

Obviously, we can't share our personal mobile numbers
So, apps like whatsapp are out of the question.

On a serious note, although I was being serious, as I like to conduct most my business in the knack.

I do not trust Skype and do not want the shit on my computers. And it annoys me when people mither for Skype address, as though it's just one of those things and everyone has one.

I use Skype a lot and I was even thinking about getting rid of my voip line in favour of Skype, but now that you mention it, it does have a lot of bugs.

But I don't know if there is anything better or even close to Skype.

I'm expert slacker! Unbeatable in category. I can also sleep for 12 hours straight, and then rest only for few hours before taking another 12 hours sleeping shift.

Anything is better than Skype. It's almost nothing but spammers, scammers, cam whores, previously banned members, shoddy basement businesses, and people who have 30 birthdays a year.

I found Telegram is very useful. Specially the old history mode is awesome. It saves all photos, link, files all separately. And also very easy to find from the old chat history. Once i fresh install skype it removed all the previous data. But telegram has backup always. Recently it includes the calling mode as well.
