If you feel it, you should definitely do it! I want to do it too, but I want to go for an AFF course in the UK so that I can jump by myself even from the very begging.

Just by making the thread it shows you are going to do it (or at least want to do it). Obviously we're going to tell you to do it. When's the last time you've heard someone say, "Oh you have the opportunity to skydive? Don't do it. It's no fun."?

I jumped a bungee in Nepal, then skydived. The first one is much more exciting, the second one is much less scary. :-)

Just have to remember one thing when jumping: breath - if you don't, it might get ugly.

And uhm, something to cheer you up:

I jumped a couple years ago here in Florida over the beach, great experience.

Im also planning to do it with a few mates in about a month here.

Really worried though - that Granny video definitely gave me second thoughts but it looks like Il be doing it.

I've heard people doing it and then never being scared of anything again, lol. Sounds like great fun!

The Granny video show exactly what you shouldn't do when exiting the plane. You can see her grabbing a hold of the sides of the door etc. Seems she wanted to back out. The instructor really should have backed her up and aborted the jump imo.

its will be great experience but a trainer diver should be there with us because we are not regular divers and it is thrilling to see earth from that height

Do it! I did a tandem with the instructor from 12,000 feet over the desert near Las Vegas and I will never forget leaning out the door of the plane and standing on the strut and looking straight down. So awesome, it was not scary at all. Then the drop is the best rush ever.

Don't miss this memorable experience.

Yes. The first step is a bitch. Once the chute opens, you know there is a God. The descent is quiet and peaceful.

Go for it.

Do it, its the best thing ever. Been trying to get my girlfriend to do one with me but she is a pussy.

In an interview she said that she wanted to jump but her knee was in agony, which is understandable at her age. My friend is an instructor and he rekons the lateral straps were too slack. Which is what caused her to slip loose.
