Sitewide widget on all posts with same text + image + link = bad for SEO?

Hi all,
I have set up a widget that appears on every blog post (basically and ad for one of my clients).
So on every post, there's the same image, same ~50 words and same CTA button that often have nothing to do with the rest of the article.
Is that bad for SEO? Or can Google understand that this is just an ad?
Thanks!

I don't think it will be bad for SEO because we have many such widgets common across all the pages. For example, a subscribe to newsletter widget that is placed just below the article runs through all the posts alike.

Sometimes that is placed within the article too.

In your case you are placing a similar widget. If that widget's content is specific to a certain article (like weight loss quiz widget) then it might not fit well with the article about mental wellness.

So what kind of widget is this?

It is a plain and simple <div> with 60 words promoting a cashback website (I have a personal finance blog). So it is displayed on posts that are related to cashback as well as unrelated topics.

I was thinking of replacing the widget with an image (a screenshot of it) so as to eliminate the text.
