Two or three sites are ranking page 1 for certain high competition Garcinia Cambogia longtail 1-10k MS "buying" keywords with less than 300 backlinks and DA/PAs in the 30s. On top of that, they're ranking with some extremely thin <10 page sites, how the heck are they pulling that off?

I've ranked a lower competitive term with 4-5 decent "pr" links and some general base links to diversify anchors so i'm assuming the same thing can be done with higher competition keywords.

Be aware that they could have significant volumes of links from their own PBN's, but you're not seeing them because the PBN sites are hidden from ahrefs et al...

Good point, they may have blocked the sites like ahrefs, Majectic SEO.

Also, check for any 301 redirects.

Yep. Quality > Quantity, all day long, in SEO.

No they won't. Google won't do a damn thing, because they're powerless to 'fight spam' as they call it, or 'force everyone to adwords' as I call it.

Please don't come here to spread propaganda, it's not helpful and it's not welcome.

I think he means once you out someone's site/keyword on BHW it gets reviewed by the Google team that monitors BHW.

It is probably 301 redirect, you can find plenty of info here how to redirect link weight threw 301, It can be high quality links, but I do not think so, or like others say it can be private network hidden from aharefs

A lot of people skim over the numbers and just see PA/DA as being the be all and end all.

I can tell you from plenty of experience, a link from a PA<20 page that's super niched down, is worth ten of your Pr3 links.

Find the hidden gems that take the extra work, go where other marketers work.

And reap the rewards.

FPS

True, as people said above, focus on quality rather than quantity. Niche related high PA/DA/PR links are a lot more better than non-related high PR backlinks.

But the content plays a major role in ranking as well, make sure to keep it all original without any errors and mistakes and make update your blog/website daily. If you do everything right, you will see the results pretty quick.

Yet another thread outing other's black hat site....

That's exactly what I was thinking too - just because Moz/Majestic/Ahrefs aren't showing a load of high authority backlinks, it doesn't mean they don't exist somewhere in a hidden PBN. There's no guarantee that this is the case but it's certainly a possibility.
