Sites Built Strictly For Backlinks

When building sites designed for backlinks, what are some of the strategies you have had success with?.. experiences..?

Ideas I have used:

1. Blogs full of Strictly duplicated ezine articles
2. sites with strictly unique content
3. Number of pages your sites have
4. Amount of linking OUT

One of the things I always do is add some links to authority sites within the niche (NOT other affiliates) to make it look less spammy.
Having links to Wikipedia, etc. looks natural.

**what type of domains do you use for your sites for links?

- newly bought .com's ?
- blahblah/wordpress.com ?
- .info names ?

I'm trying to figure out the best method.. obvisouly .com is teh best, but it would be soooooo EXPENSIVE

I'd recommend you look into buying expired domain names for this purpose.

I think if you wanna a high rank,the thing you should pay attention is your content and backlinks but not domain.
If you do that maybe .org or .net even so .info can also well after .com.

this is getting way off topic.. the sites BEING BUILT are for backlinks to money sites.. for them to rank well..

Questions:

- Sites devoted to backlinking other money sites, what type of domain to use? is a .info new domain better than a free given " xxxx.wordpress.com" ??

- How are sites structured? post duplicate articles with links.. unique.. experiences ..?

This is the principle I learn and I apply it. SEO+Traffic=$$$$$$.

I'm not sure if this is what malilibog was touching on but I'd try and build a site that not only gets a +1 backlink per page but can actually drive traffic to your money site.

There's no reason why a half decent blog or static site can't be all of the following:-
Profitable
Provide backlinks
Drive traffic

If you can come up with a way to do all three it'll be a better use of your time IMO.

If its only for backlinks, no need for real traffic, then I would go for a mixture. Get some hosted blogs at blogger, wp.com etc (there are loads out there). For building your sites I would buy a bulk lot of domains from either DP, ebay or namepros. You'll be able to get 10 - 20 names for under $5 if your lucky, all with various expiration dates (spread the renewals out). They will probably have a few back links already, be cached in the main SE's and even have some PR. Throw up a slow posting WP autoblog/article drip feed or similar to get the robots hitting the sites so your links will be picked up quickly. The whole job can take only a few hours once you have the names. Do this once a month and before you know it you'll have a strong network to promote your own stuff and others for a fee

To make sites for backilinks and to drive traffic to my money sites I generally build large database sites and/or sites with thousands of Ebay listings. I use Joomla, sometimes WP. These sites have hundreds or thousands of pages that get indexed by the search engines. They also make me a few bucks from adsense and the Ebay ppc program. CSV databases are not hard to find, particularly on Freenet.
