Hello BHW,

Every since I dived into the realm of MNS and semi-authority sites, I've been very frugal with my spending. I've had every one of my sites hosted on a free cloud hosting site, hostzil.la. I'm not ranking for any of my sites (Started a month and a half ago) and the competition is fairly low. My sites are down about half of the day due to shitty hosting. My old philosophy was that I would just switch to paid hosting once one of my sites is ready to monetize. After being fed up with not ranking in the top #1000 for keywords that I have an EMD for, and have under 250k serp results, I decided to consult google. Turns out, a site can go down in the SERPs if google sees it constantly isn't up.

I'm planning on switching over to hostgator sometime within the next couple days. Is there anything else I should do to recover from this setback? I'm assuming the downtime is what's been killing my sites, since they aren't de-indexed or anything. Any advice would be appreciated.

switch to reliable hosting.. downtime will affect your site on google and your earning

Hostgator would certainly be better than being down for half the time.
