Sitemap

I am currently doing a site audit and it seems that the homepage of my client's website that was on the sitemap has no / at the end (ex: https://website.com). It is not redirected to the a page with / at the end. Is that okay or should the page with / be added on the sitemap (https://website.com/)? Please enlighten me, I am still new on this field. Thank you!
