Sitemap Problem

    I submitted a sitemap to Google and most of the Urls are indexed. And now I want to submit another sitemap (updated one) but it does not accept. I have to delete the old one? Or just create another sitemap and submit? Please Help!!!

    You can have 2 sitemap that's not a problem. But make sure you have quality one.

    Make sure your second site map sitting on eg.,domainame.com/sitemap.xml and make sure your second sitemap don't have same name as first(/sitemap.xml)
    Check your roborts.txt default is
    User-agent: *
    Allow: /
    If your are using wordpress i recommend you to us[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]e "yoast" SEO plugin.

    There is no point having two sitemaps. If your site is new or having only few pages better delete the old one and stick with new. [/FONT]

    Just replace your first sitemap.
