sitemap not being read error search console

im using adultvideoscript 8.1, and when i try to send sitemap.php to search console i get sitemap could not be read error or http error. how can i fix it?

use a sitemap generator , update the sitemap , and resubmit

“Sitemap could not be read” often means that Google just hasn't fetched the file. You can reload the page, or try to check the sitemap in the URL Inspection Tool.

It maybe because of cache feature of website. I faced same issue with Wordpress site using cache plugin. Then I removed the plugin and sitemap worked.
