anyone experience i think all siteground account suspended who created from this links siteground dot com/newua in here or somewhere

Same here looks like they've discovered the hole and patch it already. Bad luck :)

can you please clarify why is it suspended?
A guy from this forum visited a conference wherein the peeps at Siteground offered him a free 1 year hosting code, he applied it and got it for free and shared it witht community and with the influx of signups the company found out....

I never really liked Siteground so I'm not surprised they didn't honor your signup.

Yes same here. When I try to login it says account no longer accessible

I tried contacting them and support said that I need to share my conference ticket to continue with free hosting.
So pathetic

Everyone who applied for the siteground free hosting might already get an email regarding the change in Login Url which is: my.siteground.com

So, when I try to login from above Url, I was getting an alert message showing "Provided Password is incorrect."

Next, I was able to reset my password by using the Recover Password option, which clearly shows the account is not yet suspended. But Once again, when I try to log in, the same incorrect password alert message displayed.

Might be a bug :D

Tell them you lost it and that they should have been giving unique coupon codes instead if they weren't going to deliver on the amount of free signups.

Not like they'll have a delegate list of names to be able to cross reference against, now is it?

Why not try for it.

I'm guessing here that the number of signups from here alone will be possibly more than the number of delegates who attended.

More so, there will have been people who will have created more than 1 sign up.

Actually there's a list of delegates available, so unless you're using one of those names, you're screwed to begin.

There were only 13 - 20 the attendee's who attended and they have their photos and full on the website.

Welp, it's ultimately their loss, they should have at least sent an email notifying people that they've been account suspended.

Luckily enough the website I set up with a temporary domain still works(I can log into WordPress through the domain), don't know if it's of any use though.

You seriously think it's Sitegrounds fault that some guy shared a coupon code here in the forums, which wasn't even meant to be shared for?

I didn't put the fault on anyone, I just said it was their loss. As a business though if there are no terms and condition on promotion, the professional thing to do would be to notify your customers (which everybody who registered is). Ultimately it is their responsibility on how their promotion works and how they communicate because it's their business. If they're not competent to even do that then why would I do business with them?

For instance, if they run a 50% off promotion for the first 1000 customers and I am customer 1005, will they decide to suspend my account because of their incompetence, because they don't know how program a limit? Why would I entertain that?

My problem isn't with this promotion getting canceled and more of how they handled the situation and it could reflect on how they conduct business regularly. They're smaller hosting companies that would handle their business more professionally.

Well i am also able to use my website via wp admin panel but dont know how long it will be the re
