Have the opportunity for a link in footer of a EDU domain that is PR6 with 4200 indexed pages.
Is this okay or is it too much? The site is not directly relevant to my niche. I will be supplying products to students thats how i am getting the link.
    Its a school website.

What do you think? Or am i better off just getting one link on a page rather than a site wide backlink?

    Any help appreciated.

EDU sitewide links are good for making authority .
