Hey guys,

When Google Penguin update went live, my website lost its position, and keeps losing it.

I keep adding BLs, but nothing changes. The website's rating on Alexa keeps growing but Google's position is the same.

What can I do to bring my website back to life?

Thanks a lot for your responds!

Please give some more information on what kind of Link building you done before and after the tank. Will help you to receive a good answer.

It depends what SEO strategy did you use. Try to give more details

We used guest posting during the last months. Some SAPE links have been used before. The website was banned and a big Disavow was created to unban it.

What is your anchor ratio?

There is no recommendation to anchor ratio. It depends on the niche. Stick with brand and raw URL as much as you can, keep the partial and exact ration to minimum possibe.

Yes and no. Depending on the project.

I have same issue, i'm trying to lower the exact anchors under 10% . So far some of the kw are back to top 100 but i cant still confirm that is the issue.I try to mix branded nacked and lsi kw to the linkbuilding.

I have two sites (built before this update and use good expired domains), I have thrown some web2.0 and edu backlinks to them, In general, they will get original rank fast like before. but for these two sites(all amazon review sites) have not get any ranks. Have you face similar problems?

The problem is the existing links, not building new ones.

Anchor ratios as others have said, go back and review your link profile.

Drop them down to below 2% if possible just 1%.

Use web 2.0 and PRs to build naked url/generic/brand links. Use co-occurence technique when placing the links. Use different web 2.0 sites, there are more than 150 you can make use off.

Use long content in those web 2.0 (above 1000 words). Not spinned please. Use original content.

After that just spam cheap posts to the web 2.0s with 5% exact match, 25% lsi, remaining generic or url.

I will bet a JR vip membership with you that you will see your ranks improve within a month.

One thing should be crystal clear. Never use Alexa to judge a website.
It's a metrics for those looking for sponsorers

thanks for sharing. two questions here:

1. what's mean "co-occurence technique"?
2. any good services (web2.0s and PR) recommend? Please send me a message if you don't want to share here.

Because robots are sending others higher up on Alexa. Don't worry, if your Google SERPs are fine then don't sweat. You can buy traffic here on BHW and boost your Alexa up as far as you want.
